Icelandair began service to Lisbon from Keflavik, Iceland, last Friday.
The route, initially planned as seasonal, will operate two weekly frequencies (Mondays and Fridays) throughout the year on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with capacity for 160 passengers: 16 in Saga Class and 144 in Economy Class.

“Lisbon is an exciting addition to our extensive route network. The destination has been well received and due to strong demand, we have decided to offer year-round services instead of seasonal winter flights as initially planned”, Tomas Ingason, Icelandair Chief Commercial Officer said.
Lisbon thus becomes the latest addition to Icelandair’s extensive network of some 60 destinations in Europe and North America.
