Most punctual airlines in September
Cirium, the specialist firm in aviation sector analysis, published its monthly report on airline punctuality performance for the month of September 2024, where Aeromexico ranked, for the second consecutive month, in first place in the “Global Airlines” category, with 91.13% of its flights on time.
In Latin America, Aeromexico ranked first with 91.13%, followed by Panama’s Copa Airlines with 89.62%, Caribbean Airlines with 88.90%, Avianca with 88.74% and Brazil’s GOL with 86.70%.
In North America, Delta Air Lines was the most punctual with 87.81%, second place went to United Airlines with 86.47% and in third place Southwest Airlines with 84.18%.

In Europe, Iberia Express ranked first with 85.08%, followed by Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) with 82.45% and Air Europa with 80.14%.
In Asia-Pacific, first place went to Thai AirAsia with 86.40%, second to Japan Airlines with 83.18% and third to All Nippon Airways (ANA) with 79.48%.
In the Middle East and Africa, Flyadeal was first with 93.86%, Safair second with 93.24% and Oman Air third with 93.02%.
