Delta Air Lines inaugurated its new seasonal service between Los Angeles and Brisbane, Australia on Wednesday.
The route, which will be available through March 28, 2025, will operate three times weekly on Airbus A350-900 aircraft featuring four cabin types: Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin.
The aircraft in charge of operating the inaugural flight was Delta’s special LA28 Olympic livery, which symbolically links the host cities of the next two Olympic Games, Los Angeles in 2028 and Brisbane in 2032.

“We are delighted that Brisbane is now Delta’s second destination in Australia. The arrival of one of the world’s largest airlines speaks volumes about the growing importance of this city as a global destination,” said Gert-Jan de Graaff, Brisbane Airport General Manager.
Customers flying Delta from Brisbane will be able to easily connect to dozens of U.S. and Canadian cities through the airline’s Los Angeles hub.
