The Civil Aeronautics confirmed on Thursday, through the social network X, that Qatar Airways requested authorization to operate the Doha-Bogotá-Caracas (technical stop)-Doha route.
The application indicates that the route will operate twice weekly frequencies and on Boeing B777-300ER and Airbus A350-1000 aircraft.

On November 23, during the IATA World Slots Conference, the Civil Aeronautics announced the airline’s plans to connect the capitals of Colombia and Qatar.
If completed, Qatar Airways would be the second Middle Eastern airline to fly to Colombia, after Emirates began operations in June of this year.
