United Airlines will offer nonstop flights between San Francisco and Panama City beginning May 22, 2025, the airline shows on its website.
The route will operate one daily flight on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with capacity for 166 passengers: 16 in First Class, 54 in Premium Economy and 96 in Economy.

Flights will depart San Francisco at 10:55 a.m., landing in Panama City at 8:10 p.m. (local time). From the Panamanian capital, they will take off at 15:15, arriving in California at 20:58 (local time).
This new service will complement the airline’s existing flights to Panama from Houston and Newark.
Currently, Panama’s Copa Airlines, United’s Star Alliance partner, operates the route with up to 11 weekly frequencies.
