ITA Airways has announced the resumption of its flights between Tel Aviv Ben Gurion and Rome Fiumicino, starting on February 1. The reactivation of this route will be gradual, with an initial daily frequency and, from February 16, an additional nighttime flight will be added, depending on the evolution of the geopolitical scenario.
The flights will operate according to the following schedule:
Daytime flight:
- Departure from Tel Aviv Ben Gurion at 2:30 p.m. (local time), arriving at Rome Fiumicino at 5:15 p.m. (local time).
- Departure from Rome Fiumicino at 9:10 a.m. (local time), arriving at Tel Aviv Ben Gurion at 1:30 p.m. (local time).

Nighttime flight:
- Departure from Tel Aviv Ben Gurion at 5:15 a.m. (local time), arriving at Rome Fiumicino at 8:05 a.m. (local time).
- Departure from Rome Fiumicino at 10:50 p.m. (local time), arriving at Tel Aviv Ben Gurion at 3:10 a.m. (local time) the following day.
This new schedule offers convenient connections from Israel to all ITA Airways’ intercontinental destinations via the Rome Fiumicino hub.
The resumption of flights between Tel Aviv and Rome was made possible thanks to cooperation with Italian and Israeli authorities. This relaunch is strategically important for ITA Airways as it strengthens the commercial, social, and cultural relations between the two markets.
