In the summer of 2025, Jetblue will expand its network with new routes and destinations. As part of its JetForward strategy, the airline is strengthening its position as a leader in leisure travel on the East Coast, offering travelers more options to enjoy coastal getaways, urban adventures, and unforgettable natural experiences.
New Routes and Expansion in Boston
JetBlue reaffirms its commitment to Boston as its primary leisure hub, announcing five new summer routes, four of which are brand-new additions to its network. These new flights position JetBlue as the undisputed leader at Logan Airport, offering 77 nonstop destinations, more than any other airline.
New routes from Boston:
- Wilmington, North Carolina: Starts April 30, 2025, daily service.
- Norfolk, Virginia: Begins April 30, 2025, daily service.
- Islip, New York: Available April 30, 2025, daily service.
- Madrid, Spain: Launching May 22, 2025, daily service.
- Edinburgh, Scotland: Starting May 22, 2025, daily service.
- Traverse City, Michigan: From June 5, 2025, three times per week.
- Halifax, Canada: Launching June 26, 2025, daily service.
Growth in New England and New York
The expansion extends beyond Boston. JetBlue is adding routes from Providence, Rhode Island, and Hartford, Connecticut, connecting these cities to New York’s JFK Airport and providing greater connectivity to Caribbean and Latin American destinations. Additionally, Portland (Maine) becomes a year-round destination, while Manchester (New Hampshire) will launch routes to Florida.
In the New York metropolitan area, key routes such as New York-Washington, D.C., and New York-Detroit will resume, along with seasonal flights from Newark to Santo Domingo and Los Angeles. The latter will feature the premium Mint experience.
Growth in Latin America and the Caribbean
JetBlue strengthens its connections in Latin America and the Caribbean with the launch in June of its first route to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and the expansion of daily flights from Guatemala City to Fort Lauderdale.
“We continue to focus on growing our leisure network in Boston by introducing more incredible new summer seasonal markets,” said Daniel Shurz, JetBlue’s head of revenue, network, and enterprise planning.
