The Lufthansa Group announced Wednesday its 2025 hiring plan, with the goal of adding around 10,000 new workers in various areas. This initiative seeks to strengthen the company on multiple fronts, especially in the technical and operational sectors.
Expansion at Lufthansa Technik
A significant focus is being placed on Lufthansa Technik, where more than 2,000 new employees are expected to join the team. This increase reflects the need to bolster the group’s technical capabilities, essential for keeping the fleet operational and efficient.

- Around 1,400 ground operations staff.
- Nearly 1,300 technical experts.
