Cirium, the specialist aviation industry analyst firm, released its annual report on airline and airport on-time performance in 2024 on Thursday.
In the “Global Airlines” category, Aeromexico ranked first with 86.70% of its flights on time.

In North America, Delta Air Lines was the most punctual with 83.46%, second place went to United Airlines with 80.93% and in third place Alaska Airlines with 79.25%.

In Latin America, Panama’s Copa Airlines ranked first with 88.22%, followed by Aeromexico with 86.70% and Caribbean Airlines with 85.47%.

In Europe, Iberia Express ranked first with 84.69%, followed by Iberia with 81.58% and Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) with 81.40%.

In Asia-Pacific, first place went to Japan Airlines (JAL) with 80.90%, second to All Nippon Airways (ANA) with 80.62% and third to Singapore Airlines with 78.67%.

In the Middle East and Africa, FlySafair was first with 93.82%, Oman Air second with 90.27% and Royal Jordanian third with 87.02%.

In the “Low-Cost Airlines” category, Iberia Express ranked first with 84.69%, followed by Brazil’s GOL with 84.09% and Azul Linhas Aéreas with 82.42%.

In the “Airports” category, King Khalid Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) was the most punctual in 2024 with 86.65%. Second place went to Jorge Chávez in Lima (Peru) with 84.57% and third place to Benito Juárez in Mexico City with 84.04%.
