Air India is showcases its new Business Class and Premium Economy cabins for the Airbus A320 at the South Asia’s Travel & Tourism Exchange (SATTE) 2025, taking place from February 19 to 21 at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention and Expo Centre) in New Delhi.
An Immersive Experience at Air India’s Stand
The airline’s pavilion at SATTE 2025 stands out for its design inspired by the iconic golden window frames of the airline, known as “The Vista.” This aesthetic element is combined with immersive digital interactions to provide an innovative experience for visitors.
Business Class and Premium Economy Seats
Attendees will have the opportunity to experience firsthand Air India’s transformation through live demonstrations of its new Business Class and Premium Economy seats in the modernized A320 fleet. Currently, the airline offers Premium Economy cabins on more than 80 aircraft serving both domestic and international routes.
As part of its modernization plan, Air India is refurbishing 27 of its A320 aircraft, with completion expected by mid-2025. This upgrade will include new cabins, seats, upholstery, carpets, and the introduction of the Premium Economy class, significantly increasing the number of aircraft with a three-class configuration.

Passengers in the new Premium Economy will enjoy an exclusive cabin with more spacious seats, enhanced comfort, improved menus, and priority ground services.
Virtual Reality: A Journey into the Future with A350
The airline has also set up a Virtual Reality (VR) experience zone that allows visitors to explore the premium cabins of the new A350. This state-of-the-art aircraft has been strategically deployed on key routes such as Delhi-London Heathrow, New York (JFK), and Newark.
Air India’s A350 features 316 seats across three classes, offering more spacious cabins, larger windows, adjustable ambient lighting, onboard Wi-Fi, and an advanced in-flight entertainment system, setting a new standard in Indian aviation.
Gastronomy and Exclusive Benefits
To complement the experience, Air India will showcase a selection of its revamped onboard menus, highlighting its enhanced culinary offerings. Additionally, visitors will have the chance to enroll in the upgraded loyalty program, “Maharaja Club,” which offers exclusive rewards and privileges.
As part of the experience, the airline will host a raffle at its stand, where attendees can win personalized gift packages and complimentary Economy Class tickets.
