British Airways continues to elevate its customers’ travel experience with the renovation of its VIP lounges at key airports worldwide. As part of its global lounge modernization program, the airline has recently reopened its revamped lounge at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
A VIP Lounge Inspired by the Pacific Northwest
The new British Airways lounge in Seattle has been designed with a blend of British elegance and elements inspired by the Pacific Northwest. Notable improvements include:
- A completely redesigned food service area with hot and cold options.
- An exclusive à la carte dining service for First Class customers.
- Work zones for passengers needing focus.
- A new full-service bar that serves as the visual centerpiece of the lounge.
- Textile artworks by local artists, such as Hannah Mason.

Expansion of the Renovation Program
British Airways has also recently modernized its lounge in Singapore, which now includes:
- A Concorde Dining à la carte area.
- Custom-made British furniture and locally inspired fabrics.
- New menus featuring dishes inspired by traditional British cuisine.
- Enhanced ambient lighting for a cozy atmosphere.
Additionally, the Club and First lounges at London-Gatwick have been completely renovated with:
- New bars offering cocktail and premium drink services.
- Redesigned furniture and decor.
- Upcoming additions yet to be announced.
The airline plans significant renovations for its lounges at London-Heathrow Terminals 3 and 5 starting in 2026.
Expansion in the U.S. and Middle East
Across the Atlantic, the British Airways VIP lounge at Washington Airport has also been renovated with:
- A new Concorde Dining area with panoramic views.
- An updated à la carte menu.
- A revamped bar and new decorative elements.
This year, British Airways has expansion plans with new lounges in:
Dubai, where an exclusive design concept, Concorde Dining, enhanced food service, showers, and a full-service bar will be implemented.
Miami, where the new lounge will be strategically located above the boarding gates.
Boston and Glasgow, with renovations scheduled to begin in the coming months.
Calum Laming, Chief Customer Officer of British Airways, reaffirmed the airline’s commitment to continuous improvement: “We announced our £7 billion transformation program last year and promised to enhance the customer experience both on the ground and in the air. Each of our 28 VIP lounges is unique, reflecting British heritage and the local essence of each destination.”
