The low-cost airline JetSmart continues its expansion in the Argentine market with the launch of two new domestic routes. Starting in April 2025, the company will begin operating direct flights from Buenos Aires to Resistencia and Trelew, thereby strengthening connectivity within the country.
Details of the New Routes
The route between Aeroparque and Resistencia will be the first to open on April 23, 2025. On the other hand, flights to Trelew will begin on April 30. Both connections will have five weekly flights, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
To celebrate this expansion, JetSmart has launched a special promotion with fares starting at $34,600 per segment, including taxes. This offer is valid for travel from the start of operations until August 31, 2025.

A Boost for Tourism and the Regional Economy
The official announcement was made during a press conference led by JetSmart’s General Manager, Gonzalo Pérez Corral, and attended by Daniel Scioli, Secretary of Tourism, Environment, and Sports of the Nation, as well as the governors of Chaco, Leandro Zdero, and Chubut, Ignacio Torres.
During the event, Scioli highlighted the positive impact of these new routes: “These new routes will allow for greater connectivity and competitiveness. This company continues to bet on and invest in our country, with a strong commitment, promoting tourism, business activity, and regional economies.”
JetSmart: Expansion and Consolidation in Latin America
JetSmart is a regional airline that currently operates around 80 routes in eight countries, with domestic operations in four of them, with Argentina being its most important domestic market.
