The European manufacturer Airbus has started the year 2025 with figures reflecting a significant increase in sales, albeit with a reduction in the number of commercial aircraft deliveries. In January, the company recorded the sale of 55 aircraft, nearly double the 31 sold during the same period last year. However, deliveries fell to 25 aircraft, compared to 30 in January 2024.
Sales Details
The 55 sales made in January were distributed among seven customers, although five of them have not been disclosed. Among the customers that have been revealed are:
- Lufthansa: Order for 5 A350-1000.
- Starlux: Order for 5 A350F.

As for the undisclosed customers, the orders are broken down as follows:
- 25 A320neo models.
- 1 A321neo model.
- 10 A330-900 models.
- 3 A350F models.
- 6 A350-900 models.
Order Cancellations
Airbus recorded four cancellations in January: one A220-100 and three A320neo.
Deliveries
The deliveries made during January 2025 totaled 25 aircraft, distributed as follows:
- Three A220-300.
- Two A319neo.
- Seven A320neo.
- Eleven A321neo.
- One A350-900.
- One A350-1000.
