The Spanish airline Air Europa is strengthening its presence in North Africa by resuming operations between Madrid and two key destinations: Marrakech and Tunis.

Marrakech and Tunis: Two Routes, One Commitment to Growth

The airline will offer over 40,000 seats in total for both routes in 2024. For Marrakech, flights began on April 6 and will continue until the end of October, with two weekly frequencies. This translates to more than 20,000 seats available for this Moroccan destination, a favorite among Spanish and international tourists.

As for the Tunis route, flights will commence on April 13 and operate until the end of September. Initially, there will also be two weekly frequencies, but from June onward, this will increase to three, reinforcing connectivity during the peak travel season.

Both routes will be operated using Boeing 737 aircraft, a cornerstone of Air Europa’s fleet for short- and medium-haul destinations.

The resumption of these routes not only represents a growth opportunity for the airline but also strengthens tourism and business ties between Spain and North Africa.
