Mexican airline Volaris has taken another step in its innovation strategy with the launch of Volaris TV, its new in-flight entertainment system. This platform aims to enhance the travel experience by offering passengers free access to high-quality audiovisual content during their flights.
What is Volaris TV?
Volaris TV is a streaming platform integrated into the airline’s fleet, designed to entertain travelers during their journey. From movies and series to documentaries and video games, the system caters to diverse tastes and age groups. Additionally, it includes:
- A real-time interactive map displaying altitude, speed, and estimated arrival time.
- The digital magazine V de Volaris, featuring lifestyle articles, cultural content, and airline updates.
- The Menu Entre Nubes (Menu in the Clouds), allowing passengers to browse available food and beverage options onboard.

Current Coverage and Expansion Plans
Volaris TV has already been implemented in over 85% of the airline’s fleet. This progress reflects Volaris’ commitment to improving the customer experience without compromising its low-cost model. The airline plans to continue installation until the system covers 100% of its operational aircraft.
Hassle-Free Access
Accessing Volaris TV is simple. Passengers only need to connect to the system using their own mobile devices, eliminating the need for individual seatback screens and maintaining the operational efficiency that defines Volaris.
With this initiative, Volaris reinforces its focus on accessibility, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
