The Brazilian airline Azul continues to strengthen its international expansion strategy. Starting July 1, 2025, the carrier will add a new direct route from Montevideo to Campinas (São Paulo), enhancing air connectivity between Uruguay and Brazil. This new route complements existing flights to Curitiba and Recife.
The new flight will operate five times a week—on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays—departing from Montevideo at 1:30 PM and arriving in Campinas at 4:00 PM. This connection not only provides easier access to a key city in São Paulo state but also opens opportunities to connect to over 60 destinations within Brazil, as well as international cities such as Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Lisbon, Porto, Paris, and Madrid.

Beatriz Barbi, Azul’s Network Planning Manager, stated: “We are thrilled to launch this new service between Campinas and Montevideo, alongside our existing routes to Curitiba and Recife. We want more Uruguayan passengers to take advantage of the opportunity to travel across Brazil and beyond, to Europe and the United States, with the full Azul experience.”
With this new route, Azul reinforces its commitment to regional connectivity and its focus on delivering a high-quality air travel experience for passengers in the Southern Cone.
