Emirates to Hire Over 1,500 Pilots in Next Two Years

On the occasion of World Pilots’ Day, Emirates has announced a new recruitment campaign: it will integrate over 1,500 new aviators into its team over the next two years. This initiative is part of its global expansion strategy and reinforces its leadership in the international aviation industry.

Advancements in Promotions: The Success of the Accelerated Command Program

Emirates is capitalizing on the success of its Accelerated Command program, which enables rapid promotions from First Officer to Captain. More than 80 pilots are already in the process of being promoted through this accelerated pathway. This focus on internal mobility underscores the airline’s commitment to the professional development of its aviators.

A Career at 40,000 Feet: Modern Fleet and Global Destinations

The airline operates one of the youngest and most modern fleets in the world: 261 wide-body aircraft, including the Airbus A380, Boeing 777, and the new Airbus A350. Its pilots fly to 148 destinations across six continents, connecting major cities like San Francisco and Sydney to paradise locations such as the Maldives or Mauritius.

Beyond professional appeal, Emirates offers something unmatched: “the best office in the world,” with breathtaking views at 40,000 feet above diverse landscapes—from jungles and deserts to mountain ranges, oceans, and even the Northern Lights.

Real-Time Onboard Medical Assistance: Emirates’ New Initiative

Live and Fly in Dubai: Benefits That Make a Difference

The benefits package for pilots includes tax-free salaries, profit-sharing, a pension fund, life insurance, and comprehensive medical and dental coverage. They also enjoy luxury transportation to and from work and spacious villa accommodations within gated communities.

With 42 days of annual leave and First or Business Class tickets for their families, pilots have ample opportunities to travel. Additionally, the advanced flight scheduling system allows for personalized rosters to align with important family moments.

Dubai, home to over 112 nationalities within the flight crew team, offers an exceptional quality of life: international schools, world-class hospitality, safe communities, vibrant nightlife, and top-tier infrastructure.

Exclusive Benefits: Premium Cards and Memberships

The airline provides its pilots with the Emirates Platinum Card, offering exclusive discounts at thousands of global brands, shops, clinics, and hospitality venues. This is complemented by the Premium Club Membership, granting access to sports and recreational facilities at select clubs in Dubai for pilots and their families.

Global Recruitment Strategy

The airline is hiring experienced pilots in four categories:

New hires will join a community of 4,600 pilots. Since 2022, Emirates has onboarded nearly 2,000 new pilots. In 2025, it plans to recruit over 550 pilots, with job fairs in more than 40 cities.
