As of June 15, 2025, LATAM Airlines will move all its operations at Mexico City International Airport (AICM) from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1. This decision aligns with the company’s goal to enhance passenger experience and achieve greater operational efficiency.
The new check-in counter will be located in area F3, with service hours from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. For passengers with VIP access, the exclusive lounge will be in Area H, near Gate 19. Entry will be through security checkpoint “G,” and the lounge will operate 24/7.

Routes and Frequencies from Mexico
LATAM continues to offer daily direct flights between Mexico City and Santiago, Chile, remaining the only airline with this frequency on the route. Additionally, it operates daily flights from Cancún to Santiago and Lima, as well as from Mexico City to São Paulo and Lima, strengthening its connectivity network across Latin America.
