Cirium, the aviation analytics firm, released its monthly report on airline punctuality performance for April 2025. Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) ranked first in the “Global Airlines” category, with 88.32% of its flights arriving on time.
In North America, Spirit Airlines was the most punctual with 83.25%, followed by Delta Air Lines in second place with 83.07%, and Alaska Airlines in third with 82.82%.
In Latin America, Copa Airlines retained the top spot with an impressive 94.01%, trailed by Aeromexico with 87.95%, Wingo with 87.54%, Avianca with 86.95%, and Brazil’s GOL with 86.69%.

In Europe, Icelandair claimed first place with 91.21%, followed by Austrian Airlines with 88.39%, and SAS with 88.32%.
In Asia-Pacific, Philippine Airlines led with 86.07%, Virgin Australia took second with 85.44%, and All Nippon Airways (ANA) ranked third with 81.85%.
In the Middle East and Africa, Royal Jordanian topped the list with 92.36%, Safair came in second with 91.05%, and Kuwait Airways placed third with 88.67%.
