Ryanair Carried 18.3 Million Passengers in April, a 6% Increase

Ryanair reported on Friday that it carried 18.3 million passengers in April 2025, a 6% increase compared to the same month last year.

Sustained Growth Reflected in the Numbers

During the month, the airline operated a total of 103,000 flights, achieving a load factor of 93%, which represents a 1% increase over April 2024.

Historic Milestone: 200 Million Annual Passengers

In the twelve months leading up to April, Ryanair experienced a 9% growth in passenger traffic, rising from 185 million to 201.3 million. This surge culminated in an unprecedented achievement: the airline surpassed 200 million annual passengers in March, becoming the first European carrier to reach this milestone in a single year.

Boeing Delays Force Adjustment of Targets

Despite the record figures, the airline has revised its traffic forecast downward for the current fiscal year, which began on April 1. Ryanair now expects to carry 206 million passengers, a reduction from the initial projection of 210 million. The reason? Delays in aircraft deliveries by Boeing, the American manufacturer.
