Aeroméxico Resumes Direct Route Between Mexico City and Cali, Colombia

This Thursday, Aeroméxico reinstated its direct flights between Benito Juárez International Airport in Mexico City and Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport in Cali, Colombia, following a suspension that had been in place since 2019.

The route will operate daily, serviced by state-of-the-art Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. These planes offer a total capacity of 166 seats, divided into two classes: 16 in business class and 150 in economy, catering to both corporate demand and the tourism segment.

Schedules Designed for Efficiency

The flight schedules are optimized to maximize connectivity and streamline travel between the two destinations. From Mexico City, flights will depart at 1:20 PM, arriving in Cali at 7:00 PM local time. For the return leg, flights will leave Cali at 8:30 AM and land in the Mexican capital at 12:00 PM.

Cali, a New Key Hub for Aeroméxico in Colombia

With this relaunch, Cali becomes Aeroméxico’s fourth destination in Colombia, joining Bogotá, Medellín, and Cartagena. Additionally, the airline solidifies its position as the only carrier offering nonstop flights on this route, representing a significant competitive advantage.

This decision reaffirms the airline’s commitment to regional expansion and enhancing air connectivity between two countries with growing and sustained exchange.
