Air Transat has inaugurated its exclusive non-stop route between Toronto and Berlin. The inaugural flight departed from Pearson International Airport on Thursday evening and landed on Friday morning at Brandenburg Airport in the German capital, marking the beginning of a long-awaited connection. This route will operate twice weekly until October.
Sebastian Ponce, Chief Revenue Officer at Transat, emphasized the strategic importance of this new service: “As the only airline offering a non-stop flight from Canada to Germany’s capital, we are thrilled to provide travelers with a direct and enriching way to experience one of Europe’s most vibrant cities.”
Beyond strengthening the airline’s presence in the European market from Toronto, this route reaffirms Air Transat’s commitment to accessible and high-quality transatlantic travel.

Schedule and Operating Days
Flights will depart from Toronto on Thursdays and Sundays at 9:05 PM, arriving in Berlin at 10:55 AM the following day (local time). Return flights will leave Berlin on Mondays and Fridays at 12:25 PM, landing at Pearson Airport at 3:15 PM (local time).

The route is operated with the Airbus A321LR, a modern aircraft renowned for its fuel efficiency and high comfort standards. Featuring ergonomic cabins and an upgraded entertainment system, Air Transat ensures a pleasant experience from boarding to landing.
