Etihad Lands in Prague and Warsaw: Two New Routes Strengthen Its Presence in Europe

Etihad Airways has commenced operations to two new key destinations in Central Europe: Prague and Warsaw. On Monday, June 2, the airline launched its inaugural flight to the Czech capital, followed by its first landing in Poland’s vibrant capital on Tuesday, June 3. These additions are part of an ambitious expansion plan that includes 16 new destinations in 2025.

Global Connectivity from Abu Dhabi

“Our new services to Prague and Warsaw open doors to endless possibilities,” said Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways. The new routes not only strengthen ties between the Middle East and Central Europe but also offer seamless connections from Abu Dhabi to Africa, Asia, the Indian subcontinent, and Australia.

Abu Dhabi: A Meeting Point Between East and West

Travelers from the Czech Republic and Poland visiting the UAE can explore Abu Dhabi, a city that harmonizes tradition with modern luxury. From the serenity of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque to the avant-garde art of the Louvre Abu Dhabi, desert adventures, world-class golf courses, and the theme parks of Yas Island.

Sustained Expansion and Modern Fleet

The launch of these routes coincides with a period of growth for Etihad. Throughout 2025, the airline will add destinations such as Atlanta (July), Taipei (September), and several Asian cities, including Hong Kong, Hanoi, and Krabi in the final quarter.

Flights to Prague and Warsaw are operated with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, equipped with 28 Business Studios featuring fully flat beds and direct aisle access.
