Avianca will cease operating its non-stop flights between Bogotá and Havana starting next August 31. This decision marks the end of a route that had been reinstated in December 2024 after a four-year hiatus.
The last scheduled flight will depart from El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá at 12:35 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, officially closing the direct connection between the capitals of Colombia and Cuba under Avianca’s operation.

The suspension of this route significantly reduces travel options for passengers traveling between the two countries. Starting in September, Wingo will be the only airline offering direct flights between Bogotá and Havana.
