Qatar Airways Doubles Down on Global Connectivity This Winter with Increased Flights to Over 15 Destinations

Qatar Airways has announced a significant expansion of its global network for the winter season, with increased frequencies on more than 15 key international routes. Among the most notable changes is its historic schedule of up to 10 daily flights to London Heathrow—the highest number ever recorded by the airline to this destination.

“The increase in frequencies is proof of our continuous improvement in passenger experience and our vision to more efficiently connect people and destinations through the Best Airport in the Middle East,” said Thierry Antinori, Chief Commercial Officer of Qatar Airways.

Qatar Airways also leads in technological innovation. Its fleet of 54 Boeing 777 aircraft is already equipped with ultra-high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi, completely free for all passengers. With speeds of up to 500 Mbps per aircraft, it is the first airline in the world to offer this service on more than 50 wide-body planes and the only one in the MENA region to provide this technology.

Additionally, the airline is in the process of equipping its Airbus A350 fleet with Starlink, with completion expected next year.

With this winter expansion, the airline is growing its international footprint and reaffirming its position as a symbol of excellence, innovation, and global connectivity.
