Finnair has announced it will strengthen its Southern European network with four key destinations for the Summer 2026 season: Florence, Catania, Valencia, and the Greek island of Kos. Three of these are new scheduled routes, while Kos will transition from being exclusively a charter flight to being integrated into the airline’s scheduled program.
Christine Rovelli, Chief Revenue Officer at Finnair, emphasized the importance of this expansion: “Italy, Spain, and Greece are particularly popular among our customers in Finland and Northern Europe during the summer months. These new routes complement our network in Southern Europe, offering both beach holidays and cultural getaways, with the travel season extending from spring through autumn.”
