Emirates Expands Premium Economy Cabin to All Airbus A380 Flights to New York

Emirates has announced that, starting December 1st, all its Airbus A380 flights to New York-JFK will operate with four classes, including the Premium Economy cabin.

The non-stop EK201/202 flights, which cover the daily connection between Dubai and New York, will incorporate this option, designed for those seeking a superior level of comfort without the cost of Business Class.

Expansion Also via Milan

The plan is not limited to direct flights. Starting November 10th, the daily EK205/206 services, which connect Dubai with New York via Milan, will also offer Premium Economy. Furthermore, passengers traveling between Dubai and Milan will be able to choose this product on two daily frequencies.

This move increases flexibility for customers seeking more comfort options on the transatlantic route.

Details of the Premium Economy Experience

The reconfigured A380s will feature four classes: First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class.

In the Premium Economy section, located at the front of the main deck, 56 seats are arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration. Each seat offers more space to work or relax, along with customized features such as individual charging points and a side console for drinks.

The experience is complemented by curated amenities, a refined menu, and an extensive beverage list, which features the Chandon Vintage Brut 2016, served exclusively to passengers in this cabin.

A Growing Global Network

With these additions, Emirates expects to reach 68 destinations with Premium Economy service across its fleet of A380s, B777s, and A350s by March 2026.

The airline already offers this cabin on key routes to Australasia and Asia, such as Sydney, Singapore, Osaka, Mumbai, and Bangalore, reinforcing its commitment to investing in a top-tier flight experience and providing more premium options across different geographies.
