Flybondi announced this Thursday the return of its route to Asunción, effective December 1st. With this operation, the airline adds a second connection to Paraguay, as it currently flies between Buenos Aires and Encarnación.
Operational Details
The route will operate with a daily frequency.
- Buenos Aires -> Asunción: Departs from Aeroparque Internacional Jorge Newbery at 00:30, arriving at Silvio Pettirossi International Airport at 02:25.
- Asunción -> Buenos Aires: Departs at 04:45, arriving in the Argentine capital at 06:40.
This schedule is designed to benefit both tourists and those requiring flexibility for business travel.

Mauricio Sana, CEO of the airline, highlighted the strategic value of this relaunch: “We are thrilled to return to Asunción, which was one of the first international routes in Flybondi’s history. This reopening reaffirms our commitment to Paraguay and allows us to expand our international network. Our goal is to create more and more travel opportunities at affordable prices, boosting tourism and economic development between both countries. This is another step in our purpose of enabling more people to have the freedom to fly.”

Tickets are already available on Flybondi’s website with a special fare starting at USD 189 roundtrip. Furthermore, passengers paying in US dollars with a Visa, Mastercard, or Cabal debit card can get a discount of up to 30%.
Flybondi and its Regional Expansion
With this route, the airline takes another step in its internationalization strategy. It currently offers:
- Brazil: Flights from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Florianópolis, Salvador de Bahía, and Maceió; and from Córdoba to Rio de Janeiro and Florianópolis.
- Paraguay: Buenos Aires — Encarnación connection.
- Peru: Puerto Iguazú — Lima route.
