Indian airline IndiGo has announced the launch of a new international route connecting Mumbai and Copenhagen, effective October 8, 2025. With this operation, the airline strengthens its presence in Northern Europe and adds the Danish capital as its 44th international and 138th overall destination.
Flights will operate three times per week using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, leased on a wet/damp lease basis from Norse Atlantic Airways.
Pieter Elbers, CEO of IndiGo, highlighted: “With the growing demand for travel between India and Northern Europe, we are thrilled to connect Mumbai with Copenhagen, marking our entry into the Scandinavian region. This move strengthens our European network and offers Indian travelers a gateway to the Nordic world.”
The new route will facilitate the flow of business travelers and tourists while boosting ties in trade, education, and tourism between the two regions.

- Mumbai → Copenhagen
Departure: 04:35

Frequency: 3 times per week

Arrival: 00:30 (+1 day)
Frequency: 3 times per week
