British Airways to Fly Between London and St. Louis, Missouri in Summer 2026 Season

British Airways has announced the launch of a new transatlantic route connecting London Heathrow with St. Louis, Missouri, starting April 19, 2026. With this launch, the airline becomes the only UK carrier offering direct flights to this city, solidifying its position as the British company with the most destinations in the United States.

The service will be operated with Boeing 787 aircraft four times per week during the summer season—on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Departure from London is at 16:25, arriving in St. Louis at 19:30 (local time). The return flight will depart from St. Louis at 22:00, landing at Heathrow at 12:05 the following day.

Travel Options and Prices

Passengers can choose from three cabins:

Round-trip tickets are already available from £529. For Club World, some flights will feature the innovative Club Suite, offering direct aisle access, a seat that converts into a flat bed, a 17-inch screen, and a brasserie-style dining service with freshly prepared dishes.

British Airways Strengthens Its Network for Summer 2026 with More Flights to Bangkok, Miami, and Jamaica

Additionally, British Airways Holidays is offering a special “St. Louis Fly-Drive” package: seven days of car rental plus round-trip flights from London Heathrow, starting from £799 per person, for travel on selected dates between April and May 2026. This promotion includes one checked bag per traveler and will be available until October 15, 2025.

Strengthening the US Network

Neil Chernoff, Chief Planning and Strategy Officer at British Airways, emphasized that St. Louis is both a destination in its own right and a strategic point for exploring other cities in the Midwest:

“As the only direct route from the UK, this service will open up new opportunities for our customers and strengthen ties between both countries.”

The company already flies to 27 destinations in the United States, more than any other British airline. This new operation will also be integrated into the Atlantic Joint Business alliance, which includes American Airlines, Iberia, Finnair, Aer Lingus, and LEVEL, enabling seamless connections and competitive fares across Europe and North America.

Increased Frequencies on Key Routes

The launch of the St. Louis route is part of a broader expansion plan. Starting in the summer of 2026, British Airways will increase its service to several US cities:

With these developments, the airline reinforces its role as a key bridge between Europe and North America, offering travelers more options and quality experiences on both continents.
