Emirates has deployed the Airbus A350 on its route to Oslo, marking the first time its award-winning Premium Economy service arrives in Scandinavia. The airline celebrated the occasion with an exclusive event at the airport, attended by special guests and media representatives, highlighting its commitment to providing exceptional service in the region.
The introduction of the A350 to Emirates’ operations on this route represents a new phase in its investment in the Norwegian market. This modern aircraft features the airline’s latest interiors in Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class, setting a new standard of excellence and comfort for passengers across all cabins.
Eleven Years Connecting Norway with World
Since its launch in 2014, Emirates’ daily service between Dubai and Oslo has become a preferred choice for both business and leisure travelers, connecting Norway with the United Arab Emirates and an extensive global network of destinations.
Attendees at the event included Pierfrancesco Carino, Vice President of Commercial Operations for Northern and Western Europe; Terje Grue, Country Manager for Emirates in Norway; Majid Al Matrooshi, Representative from the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Norway; Ståle Lien Hansen, Mayor of Ullensaker Municipality; and Dorothy Billett, Senior Vice President of Terminal Operations at Avinor.

During the ceremony, Terje Grue, Country Manager for Emirates in Norway, stated: “We are thrilled to bring the A350 and our Premium Economy product to Norway. This is an important step in strengthening our presence in the market. Travelers from Oslo will be able to enjoy a completely new level of comfort, whether flying to Dubai or onwards to our multiple destinations across Asia, Africa, and Australia.”
Premium Economy: Accessible Luxury in Every Detail
The arrival of the Premium Economy service redefines the travel experience by making luxury more accessible to a broader audience. This class offers amenities comparable to the business class of many airlines, with 40 inches of seat pitch, 8 inches of recline, adjustable headrests, and full leg and foot supports, ensuring greater comfort during the flight.
Each seat is upholstered in high-quality cream leather and features deployable wooden tray tables, ideal for dining or working. Furthermore, passengers have access to integrated charging ports, a side cocktail table, 13.3-inch personal screens, a generously sized pillow and blanket, and complimentary amenity kits on selected flights.
As a distinctive touch, Emirates offers its Premium Economy customers an exclusive glass of Chandon Vintage Brut 2017, available only on its flights.
With this addition, Emirates reinforces its commitment to offering superior flight experiences and solidifies its position as a leading airline in innovation, comfort, and onboard service.
