Air Canada has revealed a striking new livery inspired by “Zootopia 2,” the highly anticipated Walt Disney Animation Studios film coming to theaters on November 26. The special design adorns an Airbus A220, identified as Fin 138, which will traverse the skies and land at key destinations such as Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York LaGuardia, Denver, and Boston.
A Visual Tribute to Adventure and Imagination
Andy Shibata, Vice President of Brand at Air Canada, highlighted the symbolic value of this initiative: “This special design is an exciting addition to our relationship with Disney. It reminds us that travel, much like storytelling, is about imagination, connection, and a bit of magic.”
Shibata also expressed the airline’s enthusiasm for sharing this moment with Disney fans and families who enjoy the adventurous spirit of travel. He also teased a surprise in the film: “We are excited to see the movie in theaters and to discover a special airline in Zootopia that bears a remarkable resemblance to ours.”

Disney and Air Canada: A Partnership That Continues to Grow
Quincy Kelman, Vice President of Marketing for Walt Disney Studios Canada, celebrated the collaboration: “We are thrilled to be working with Air Canada to take the magic of ‘Zootopia 2’ to new heights—literally.”
With the return of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde to the big screen, this partnership invites fans to embark on an unforgettable journey where the cinematic story merges with the experience of flying.
Exclusive Experiences for Aeroplan Members
As part of this campaign, Air Canada is offering Aeroplan members the chance to win one of two trips to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The prize includes access to “Zootopia: Better Zoogether,” a brand-new 4D show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park, where visitors can celebrate with their family amidst the energy of the urban savanna.
Third Themed Livery in Collaboration with Disney
The “Zootopia 2” livery adds to a series of previous collaborations between Air Canada and Disney. In November 2023, the airline unveiled a Boeing 787 Dreamliner decorated with characters from “Wish,” and in February 2022, an A220 was customized with motifs from Disney and Pixar’s “Turning Red.”
