Aeropuertos Argentina presented an ambitious renovation plan for the Ingeniero Ambrosio Taravella International Airport in Córdoba, aimed at doubling its operational capacity, improving the passenger experience, and boosting the regional economy. The terminal will expand from 19,700 m² to 24,000 m², incorporating 7 boarding gates, 31 check-in counters, new retail spaces, two VIP lounges, and a renovated Duty Free area.
Córdoba: An Expanding Strategic Hub
The Córdoba terminal has been one of the fastest-growing in the country, both in passenger numbers and the addition of new airlines and flight frequencies. Between January and October 2025, the airport handled 2,621,415 passengers (1,869,970 on domestic flights and 751,445 on international flights), representing a 12.06% increase compared to the same period in 2024. For the entire year of 2024, a total of 2,865,012 passengers were recorded (2,249,324 domestic and 615,688 international).
Authorities and Public-Private Commitment
The announcement was made at the provincial government headquarters with the presence of Governor Martín Llaryora; the CEO of Aeropuertos Argentina, Daniel Ketchibachian; the General Manager of the East Business Unit, Estanislao Aleman; the President of the Córdoba Tourism Agency, Darío Capitani; and the Mayor of Córdoba, Daniel Passerini.
Llaryora emphasized: “This is about committing to the development and growth of the country and the people of Córdoba. It positions us as one of the most important airports in Argentina and also in South America.” Ketchibachian, in turn, stressed that “the joint work of the public and private sectors is essential” to ensure that the sustained growth in passenger numbers is not limited by infrastructure.

Record Satisfaction and Future Vision
According to Airport Council International (ACI) ASQ surveys, overall passenger satisfaction reached record levels in 2025. This result anticipates the positive impact of the 2026-2027 modernization plan, which aims to position Córdoba among the top 10 terminals in South America.

National and International Connectivity
The airport is served by Aerolíneas Argentinas, JetSmart, Flybondi, Copa, Latam, Gol, Air Europa, Paranair, and Avianca.
