Plus Ultra to Connect Madrid with Buenos Aires Starting May 2026
Spanish airline Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas announced this Monday that it will begin operating flights between Madrid and Buenos Aires starting May 23, 2026, thereby strengthening its network of destinations in the Americas. This new route represents a key step within the company’s expansion plan, which aims to consolidate its presence in the Latin American market.
Operating Frequencies and Schedules
Initially, the route will have two weekly frequencies between the Spanish capital and Buenos Aires’ Ministro Pistarini International Airport (Ezeiza). Starting in July, the offering will be increased to four weekly flights.
– From Madrid: Flights will depart at 23:00, with an expected arrival in Buenos Aires at 06:35 the following day.
– From Buenos Aires: Departures will be at 12:35, landing at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport at 05:40 the following day.

The opening of this new route is part of an ambitious growth plan that envisages closing the year 2025 with the addition of two Airbus A330 aircraft. Furthermore, the airline plans to increase frequencies on all its current destinations.
Buenos Aires Joins Plus Ultra’s Latin American Network
With this addition, Buenos Aires becomes the airline’s fifth regular destination in Latin America, joining the already established routes to Bogotá, Cartagena de Indias, Lima, and Caracas.
