Virgin Atlantic is further strengthening its presence in Asia with the announcement of a new daily route between London Heathrow Airport and Seoul, South Korea. The service will commence on March 29, 2026, and will be operated using Boeing 787-9 aircraft, configured with 31 Upper Class seats, 35 in Premium Economy, and 192 in Economy.
This new connection adds to the airline’s recent route launches to destinations such as Riyadh, Dubai, and the Maldives, alongside its established network in India, which includes flights to Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
Schedule and Fares
Flights will operate on the following schedule:
- London Heathrow > Seoul Incheon: Departure 09:45 — Arrival 06:05 (+1 day)
- Seoul Incheon > London Heathrow: Departure 08:35 — Arrival 15:05
Fares from the UK start from £799 for Economy, £1493 for Premium, and £3113 for Upper Class.

Enhanced Connectivity Thanks to SkyTeam
Thanks to Virgin Atlantic’s alliance with Korean Air, passengers will be able to connect easily from Seoul to multiple destinations across Northeast Asia, including:
- Japan: Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo Haneda, Tokyo Narita, Fukuoka, Okinawa, and Hokkaido
- Australia and New Zealand: Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland
- Vietnam: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang
- Hong Kong
Furthermore, travelers can benefit from connections offered by other SkyTeam members at Incheon, such as Vietnam Airlines, China Eastern, China Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, and Xiamen Airlines.
