Air Europa will expand its offer for this Christmas season with nearly 27,000 additional seats for flights within Spain and connections to Europe and the Americas. This initiative represents an increase of close to 60% compared to the extra seats offered in the same period of 2024, a jump made possible by the growth of its fleet in recent months.
Between December 17 and January 9, the airline will schedule over 130 additional flights on specific routes. The company will nearly double last year’s offer, driven by the addition of new Boeing 787 Dreamliners for long-haul routes and the arrival of the first Boeing 737 MAX aircraft for short- and medium-haul routes.
Boost in Europe: More Capacity to Destinations with Christmas Tradition
Flights to Munich, Zurich, Rome, and Milan, cities strongly associated with December travel, will see a significant increase. Air Europa will raise the additional seats for these routes by almost 80%, approaching 8,000 seats in total.

Growth in the Americas: More Demand and More Supply
For the most requested destinations on the American continent, the company will increase its offer by over 63% compared to 2024. This represents more than 7,000 seats to Miami, Punta Cana, and Santiago de los Caballeros.
In the last case, the reinforcement to the Dominican Republic will be especially notable, with over 5,200 additional seats.
Spain: Greater Availability to the Canary Islands, Mainland, and Balearic Islands
The Christmas reinforcement will also be significant within the country. Air Europa will enable more than 3,200 seats to the Canary Islands, specifically to Tenerife Norte and Las Palmas, while on routes to the Mainland and the Balearic Islands it will add another 8,300.
Once again, flights originating from or destined for Palma de Mallorca will account for a large part of this offer, with over 7,000 seats.
