Copa Airlines and Wingo announced the temporary suspension of their operations to and from Caracas, corresponding to Thursday, December 4, and Friday, December 5, 2025. The measure is in response to intermittent issues detected in one of the aircraft’s navigation signals, identified by pilots this past Wednesday. The companies stated that the situation did not compromise operational safety but opted for a preventive pause while the technical evaluation progresses.

The airlines explained that the finding prompted an immediate review. The technical team continues to analyze the cause of the irregular behavior and will provide updates within the next 24 hours. The companies seek to prioritize the protection of passengers and crew while determining the origin of the affected signal.

The second alternative consists of canceling the itinerary and retaining the ticket value in the form of a credit. This amount will be available for use in a future reservation.
