Spirit Airlines is celebrating twenty years of operations in Punta Cana, marking the occasion with a promotion designed to attract more travelers to the Dominican Republic’s premier tourist destination. The airline has launched an anniversary fare of $107 per one-way trip, taxes included, available for a limited time. Bookings must be made between December 10 and December 21, 2025, for travel between January 13 and March 4, 2026.
Excluded travel dates are January 19, 2026, and February 12-17, 2026, all subject to availability.
Two Decades Connecting Punta Cana with the United States
Andrea Lusso, Vice President of Network Planning for the airline, recalled Spirit’s arrival at the destination in 2005. She noted that, since then, the connection between the island and the United States has endured thanks to traveler interest, local hospitality, and collaboration with Punta Cana Airport.
