Rutaca Airlines has announced the launch of two new international routes between Venezuela and Brazil, set to begin operations in February 2026. The airline will connect the country with Manaus and Boa Vista, two strategic cities in northern Brazil, through scheduled flights from Caracas and Puerto Ordaz, with possible connections to Margarita Island.
This announcement marks a new step in Rutaca’s international expansion, in a context where air connectivity between Venezuela and Brazil remains limited.
Caracas-Manaus
The Caracas–Manaus route will commence operations on February 24, with two weekly frequencies. This is a direct link between the Venezuelan capital and one of the main economic and logistical hubs of the Brazilian Amazon.

Schedule:
- Departure from Caracas: Tuesdays and Saturdays at 23:30, arriving in Manaus at 02:10
- Return from Manaus: Wednesdays and Sundays at 03:40, landing in Caracas at 06:20
Puerto Ordaz-Boa Vista
The second new route is Puerto Ordaz–Boa Vista, which will begin operations on February 26, also with two weekly frequencies. This direct link connects Bolívar State with northern Brazil, a region with growing commercial, industrial, and logistical ties.
Schedule:
- Departure from Puerto Ordaz: 10:00, arriving in Boa Vista at 11:10
- Return from Boa Vista: 14:30, landing in Puerto Ordaz at 15:40
Additional Connectivity: Margarita as a Tourism Hub
A key element of the announcement is that both routes will offer connections to Margarita Island, expanding the commercial reach of these operations beyond the main points of origin. This opens the door to combined Brazil–Caribbean tourist flows, as well as leisure traffic from northern Brazil.
Tickets for both routes are already available on the airline’s website.
