Finnair is strengthening its annual connectivity strategy across Europe. The airline has announced that routes to Luxembourg, Valencia, and Turin, originally scheduled only for the Summer 2026 season, will now extend their operations throughout the entire year. This decision is part of a strategic network adjustment that balances corporate demand, connecting traffic, and seasonal opportunities.

The announcement confirms that the routes to Luxembourg, Valencia (Spain), and Turin (Italy)—introduced last year as new additions for Summer 2026—will no longer be strictly seasonal. Instead, they will also operate during the winter season.

According to Antti Tolvanen, Senior Vice President of Network and Revenue Optimization at Finnair, the airline continues to develop its network and increase capacity where it best serves its customers. The commitment to year-round connections ensures “seamless and reliable” travel options across all seasons. Last year, Finnair announced 12 new European destinations for the upcoming summer, expanding its continental footprint. On an intercontinental level, the airline will launch direct flights to Toronto in May and open a new route to Melbourne, Australia, in October.
