Air France transformed flight AF422 between Paris and Bogota into a high-end culinary stage on March 4, 2026, featuring the on-board presence of three-Michelin-starred chef Régis Marcon to personally present his exclusive creations to Business Class passengers.
A “Culinary Heights” Experience at 30,000 Feet
As part of its “Culinary Heights” event, the carrier offered an exceptional gastronomic experience on the route connecting Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport with Bogota. Chef Régis Marcon, a Bocuse d’Or winner, actively participated in the cabin service alongside the crew and François Adamski—also a Bocuse d’Or recipient, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, and Corporate Chef at Servair.
During the flight, Marcon interacted with customers to gather first-hand impressions of the dishes designed exclusively for the airline, marking a milestone in personalized long-haul service.
Signature Menu: Nature and French Refinement
Marcon’s culinary proposal for the Business cabin is inspired by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, prioritizing fresh, seasonal products. Highlights of this exceptional menu included:
- Appetizers and Starters: Scallops accompanied by Jerusalem artichoke purée and hazelnut vinaigrette.
- Poultry and Meat: Roasted guinea fowl with vinegar and caper sauce, or veal with spiced sauce, fennel purée, carrots, and mushrooms.
- Vegetarian Options: Crispy macaroni gratin with porcini mushrooms.

Sustainability and Digitalization in Cabin Service
Air France is reinforcing its commitment to responsible catering through the use of locally sourced ingredients. On all menus departing from Paris, the meat, poultry, dairy products, and eggs are of French origin, while the fish is sourced from sustainable fisheries.
To combat food waste, the airline allows Business Class passengers to pre-select their main course up to 24 hours before departure. This system ensures the availability of the customer’s preferred option while optimizing on-board consumption.
