Air France has presented its flight schedule for the 2026 summer season, characterized by a 2% growth in long-haul capacity, a major commitment to the U.S. market, and a historic restructuring of its domestic operations in France. The airline will serve nearly 170 destinations across 73 countries, adapting its network to the current geopolitical climate while elevating its luxury standards.
Transatlantic Expansion: New Route to Las Vegas and New York Reinforcement
Growth in long-haul capacity will be driven primarily by the dynamism of North and South America.
- New U.S. Destination: Starting April 15, 2026, Air France will launch a direct route between Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Las Vegas (LAS).
- Operational Details: The service will operate three times per week using Airbus A350-900 aircraft, marking the company’s 19th destination in the United States.
- New York Air Bridge: Beginning June 2026, the airline will double its frequencies to Newark (EWR).
- Joint Venture Impact: In collaboration with its partner Delta Air Lines, Air France will offer up to 11 daily flights between Paris and the New York hubs of JFK and Newark.
Strategy in Asia and the Middle East Amid Regional Crisis
Due to the security situation and airspace closures in the Middle East, Air France has decided to extend the suspension of its services to Tel Aviv, Beirut, Dubai, and Riyadh until late March or early April 2026, depending on the destination.

In response, the airline has redirected its capacity toward Asia, where demand remains robust:
- Increased Frequencies: Additional flights will be added to key destinations including Bangkok, Singapore, Bengaluru, Tokyo, and Osaka.
- High-Capacity Aircraft: Larger aircraft will be deployed on routes to Delhi and Mumbai to maximize passenger throughput in these strategic markets.
Domestic Market Restructuring: Paris-Charles de Gaulle as the Epicenter
Starting in the summer of 2026, Air France will execute its plan to centralize all Paris operations at its Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub.
- Consolidation at CDG: All flights to Toulouse, Nice, and Marseille, as well as to French overseas territories (Pointe-à-Pitre, Fort-de-France, Saint-Denis de la Réunion, and Cayenne), will operate exclusively from CDG to facilitate international connections.
- Transavia at Paris-Orly: The group’s low-cost subsidiary, Transavia France, will become the reference carrier at Orly (ORY).
- Regional Connectivity: Transavia will operate the routes to Toulouse, Nice, and Marseille starting March 29, 2026, offering a total of 230 routes to 109 destinations this summer.
Elevating Premium Experience: The New La Première Suite
Air France continues its positioning strategy in the luxury segment by deploying its new La Première suite.
This high-end product, already available on routes to New York-JFK, Los Angeles, Miami, Singapore, and Tokyo-Haneda, will be extended this summer to flights serving Abidjan and San Francisco. Additionally, the company is moving forward with the implementation of free ultra-high-speed Wi-Fi across its entire fleet. It is expected that 40% of the aircraft will be equipped with this technology by the end of March 2026, with the goal of covering virtually the entire fleet by the end of that year.
Short and Medium-Haul Network: Over 630 Daily Flights
In the European and Mediterranean markets, Air France will operate up to 630 daily flights to more than 90 destinations. Highlights include:
- UK and Ireland: A new route to London-Gatwick with two daily flights and an increase to four daily flights toward Dublin.
- Mediterranean Expansion: Increased frequencies to Marrakech and Rabat (up to four daily flights), as well as reinforced service on routes to Naples, Seville, and Porto.
With this ambitious plan, Air France aims to optimize operational efficiency by centralizing its network at its primary hub and capitalizing on high demand in the American and Asian markets, while enhancing the competitiveness of its technological and luxury onboard offerings.
