Copa Airlines is reactivating its night flight on the route between Panama City and Caracas starting March 16. This strategic move is designed to optimize international connections and recover the operational capacity maintained prior to July 2024.

Frequencies and Growth Projections
- Initial Operating Days: The frequency will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
- Scheduled Expansion: This flight is projected to reach daily operations starting June 1, 2026.
- Current Service: Existing daytime frequencies (CM223 and CM224) will maintain their regular schedules without alterations.
According to Roberto Pulido, General Manager of Copa Airlines in Venezuela, the adjustment responds directly to the increase in travel demand within the region.
“We are very pleased to resume our night flights and continue expanding the offering to and from Caracas. This growth allows us to provide Venezuelans with more scheduling alternatives and better connection options to their international destinations,” Pulido stated.
Consolidation of Copa Airlines in the Venezuelan Market
With a 29-year track record in the country, the airline reaffirms its role as a fundamental connector between Venezuela and the rest of the continent (North America, Central America, and the Caribbean). Currently, Copa Airlines’ operational infrastructure in the country is broken down as follows:
- Caracas: 19 weekly frequencies to Panama.
- Maracaibo: 7 weekly flights to Panama.
- Regional Connectivity: Access to more than 375 daily flights through its Hub of the Americas® in Panama.
Travelers can now manage their reservations and purchase tickets for this new frequency and the rest of the network’s destinations through the company’s official sales channels.
