Volotea has announced the launch of four direct connections linking Barcelona, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, and Mahon with the French city of Limoges. This strategic expansion aims to bolster connectivity between Spain and the New Aquitaine region.
Strategic Consolidation at Limoges-Bellegarde Airport
The rollout of these routes follows the development of Volotea’s new base at Limoges-Bellegarde Airport (LIG), which was inaugurated last February. This facility has been positioned as the carrier’s 12th base in France and its 21st across Europe, marking a significant milestone in the low-cost carrier’s (LCC) network growth.
With these new connections, the airline will facilitate passenger flow between major Spanish economic and tourist hubs and southwestern France.
