Swiss carrier Edelweiss marked a major milestone in its history this Thursday with the delivery of its first Airbus A320neo in Zurich. The aircraft, registered as HB-JDB, arrived from Norwich, Great Britain, where it underwent painting to receive the company’s full corporate livery.
This move represents the beginning of a pivotal chapter for the airline, focused on technical modernization and the optimization of its regional operations.
Efficiency and Next-Generation Technology
The A320neo is distinguished by its integration of technological advancements that directly impact the airline’s profitability and environmental commitment:

- Afternoon session: Operation to Rhodes, Greece.
The Path Toward 2028
The introduction of the A320neo is part of a strategic investment aimed at a more sustainable and future-oriented aviation model. According to the company’s expansion plans, Edelweiss will add a total of six Airbus A320neos to its fleet by 2028, ensuring the continuous renewal of its assets and increased competitiveness within the European leisure market.
