El Al Israel Airlines has confirmed the launch of a direct route between Tel Aviv and Buenos Aires scheduled for late 2026. This operational milestone represents the carrier’s longest non-stop connection to date and strengthens the bilateral ties between Israel and Argentina.
The official announcement was made by El Al’s Chairman, Amikam Ben-Zvi, during a joint press conference held by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Argentine President Javier Milei.
The route is designed not only to meet passenger demand but also to solidify the airline’s strategic presence within the Latin American market.
Following the route’s confirmation, ticket sales are expected to commence this coming May.
This new air link promises to transform connectivity between the two nations by eliminating the need for layovers and significantly reducing current travel times for both corporate executives and leisure travelers.
