Avianca Boosts Transatlantic Operations: Reaching 67 Weekly Frequencies Between Europe and Latin America for Summer

With the objective of responding to growing travel demand and strengthening air connectivity between Europe and Latin America, Avianca has announced a historic capacity increase for the summer season.

Strategic Expansion on Routes to Bogota

The core pillar of this capacity boost focuses on major Spanish hubs, optimizing connectivity with the rest of the Americas through El Dorado International Airport in Bogota.

“This growth in our summer season operations, combined with the return of our seasonal Madrid-San Salvador route, reflects the significance of our intercontinental network and positions our product as one of the most attractive and efficient for flying between Europe and Latin America,” said Catalina Nannig, Vice President of Sales at Avianca.

Return of Direct Central American Connectivity

Additionally, the carrier will reactivate its seasonal Madrid-San Salvador route, offering four direct weekly frequencies. This alternative aims to strengthen nonstop connectivity between Europe and Central America, expanding the portfolio of options for customers on both sides of the Atlantic.
