Breeze Airways has announced a strategic expansion that includes the launch of non-stop services to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, alongside an increase in international routes from multiple U.S. cities. This initiative coincides with preparations for the carrier’s fifth anniversary, reinforcing its business model of connecting underserved markets with direct flights and competitive fares.

A Milestone for the Airline’s Fifth Anniversary

Since its inaugural flight in 2021, the airline founded by David Neeleman has maintained a focus centered on efficiency and connectivity for cities with limited air service. The announcement of the route to the U.S. Virgin Islands marks a turning point in its five-year trajectory.

“Launching service to the U.S. Virgin Islands on the eve of our fifth anniversary demonstrates how far Breeze has come in this time,” stated Neeleman, Founder and CEO of the company.

Leadership at Atlantic City International Airport

A key highlight of this announcement is the strengthening of operations at Atlantic City International Airport. With the addition of new routes, Breeze Airways positions itself as the airline with the highest number of non-stop destinations from this terminal, reaching a total of seven direct destinations.
