LOT Polish Airlines launched its new direct route between Warsaw and Porto on Monday, consolidating its footprint in the Western European market. This strategic connection aims to capture high summer season demand while strengthening tourism and commercial ties between Poland and Portugal.
This expansion is backed by previous success in the Portuguese market. According to airline data, the load factor on flights to Lisbon exceeded 86% in 2025, demonstrating highly robust commercial performance and sustained interest in the destination.
Route Operational Details
The scheduled service between Warsaw Chopin Airport and Porto will operate on a five-weekly frequency framework, offering flexible connectivity for both corporate and leisure segments.

Flights are scheduled to operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays under the following itineraries:
- Departure from Warsaw: 10:20
- Return from Porto: 14:25

The airline’s executive leadership expressed absolute confidence in the potential of this new link. Robert Ludera, Board Member and Chief Commercial Officer of LOT Polish Airlines, highlighted Portugal’s role as one of the most attractive destinations on the European continent.
The executive stated that Porto perfectly complements the company’s leisure destination portfolio. He anticipated that the route will not only boost bilateral tourism but also contribute to developing commercial ties between both nations, projecting that Porto will rapidly become one of the most popular destinations across the airline’s entire network.
