JetBlue has announced an expansion of its Mint premium service from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, adding a new daily route to San Diego International Airport and increasing its flight frequencies to Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Boosting Transcontinental Connectivity from South Florida
The airline will introduce a daily nonstop flight between Fort Lauderdale and San Diego starting November 19, 2026. With this addition, JetBlue will become the only carrier to offer a business-class option in this specific market, substantially improving passenger comfort on coast-to-coast routes.
In tandem, for the winter season, the company will significantly increase its West Coast operations from Fort Lauderdale:
- To Los Angeles International Airport: Up to eight daily flights.
- To San Francisco International Airport: Up to three daily flights.
“Customers in Fort Lauderdale continue to choose JetBlue for a better coast-to-coast experience, and these additions give them even more of what they value most: more flights, more premium options, and the comfort of Mint on key West Coast routes,” said Daniel Shurz, JetBlue’s Senior Vice President of Revenue, Network, and Enterprise Planning.
